Social Media Manager (Great Lakes Hockey League)

Experience:

Marketing: 3 years (Preferred)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Chicago, IL 60611

Job Type: Full-time

Salary:  $40,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year

  •  Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement
  •  Create and curate engaging content for social media platforms, including text, images, and videos
  •  Monitor and analyze social media performance using analytics tools
  •  Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media marketing
  •  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels
  •  Manage social media advertising campaigns to drive traffic and conversions
  •  Respond to comments and messages on social media platforms in a timely manner
  •  Conduct research on industry-related topics to generate ideas for content creation
  •  Manage and update website and social media platforms.
  •  Collaborate with photographers and videographers to create visual content for social media.
  • Requirements:
  •  Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role
  •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  •  Proficient in proofreading and editing content for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors
  •  In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
  •  Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and techniques
  •  Experience in e-commerce is a plus
  •  Strong research skills to stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities
  •  Basic photography skills for capturing high-quality images for social media posts
  •  Proficiency in video editing software for creating engaging video content
